EC Entry: Capitalism

What is capitalism? Capitalism is, “an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market”. 

As I watched the video Capitalism A Love Story it made me wonder lots of things. Capitalism did very bad things. In the video it showed how companies were allowed to do thing without even getting into trouble. I think it's sad to hear how people aren’t able to do anything about these situations. It is more stressful to hear that you are basically alone and can't even trust the government. 

Capitalism was hipped so much and made the people believe that it was the greatest thing ever and people believed it. Partially it was because they did not know the effects that came with it. They just saw that it was beneficial at the beginning and did not know the consequences that came with it. 

I think it is always import to understand whats the catch. This comes to prove that if something is to good to be true we have to really analyze the situation and understand what are some possible outcomes that come with it. The US made some mistakes and its important to not repeat them.
