Entry #4 Forgiveness

Is holding on to anger really worth it? It can be so hard to forgive a person. While we try to forgive our anger and pride can take over. We feel as if it is not our obligation to do it. But while we keep thinking we should not do it we need to realize the negative effects that are happening to us because of it.
We are faced with stress and such a negative feeling. We carry that with us and it reflects our actions. We then start to act in a nasty way towards the people we love. Depending on what the situation is it will take some times for us to really be able to forgive.
Being angry all the time can really affect us and bring us down and although there might have been a time where it made us feel strong it will not be the same all the time. Too much anger and we will become weaker. Whether that is spiritually, mentally, or even physically.
The video below explains how she approached forgiveness. Although it was very difficult for her she understood that it was worth it at the end. Her story explains how she was able to forgive the man who killed her family. She explains it by explaining how free she felt once she forgave.
Hopefully this video can help any of you that is struggling to forgive.

  1. Wow! this is really nice to talk about. I'm happy i came across it. To forgive is to exercise goodness even towards those who are not good to us. Forgiving can reduce unhealthy anger. Though as humans, its very hard to do but we just have to, just for peace of mind.
